Ian writes: The tunes were spontaneously composed by the players who performed them. In the case of small ensemble groupings of which the instrumentation should be most apparent, unless of course Smit or Leaman are involved, those individuals are indeed the composers. However, credit should be extended to those not heard on said encounter for having the good sense to lay out...The notes not heard are as important as those that are.
